E-Ticketing

It's the wave of the future..... Electronic Ticketing or E-Ticketing as referred to by the Airlines. The Electronic Ticket is a paperless airplane ticket.

The E-Ticket is easy to purchase with a credit card. No waiting for a paper ticket to arrive in the mail and no over night fees. No more waiting in airport ticket lines or worrying about a lost ticket scenario. All that is necessary is for you to present your identification to a Sky Cap located in front of the airport, he will check your bags and issue a boarding pass.

The Sky Cap will direct you to the proper gate to board your flight. No luggage, then proceed directly to the gate and the agent will issue a boarding pass for your outbound flight.

The same process will be used for your return flight.....For Internationals a paper ticket is required.

CARRIERS ADD FUEL SURCHARGE TO AIR TICKETS......

Continental, United, America and Northwest added a $10 one-way, $20 roundtrip fuel surcharge to the cost of a ticket for domestic travel beginning on or after Feb. 1.

According to spokespeople for various airlines, Alaska Airlines said it was "giving it serious consideration," America West was "studying" it and TWA was "monitoring the situation."
